Food Scrap Collection for Composting is supported by FoodScraps 360

Every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market

Jonathan will answer your composting questions and tell you how to get food scrap pickup at your home.

Compost collection bins are across from the Monument Square.

Acceptable items include fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, meat, and fish.  Food scraps may be in compostable plant-based plastic bags, only if the bags are clearly labeled “Compostable“.

This service is supported by donations that pay for hauling and processing the food scraps at the compost facility in Bethlehem by FoodScraps360

To help support composting at the Market we ask for a minimum donation of $2 for each food scrap drop-off. You can pay at the booth or online with PayPal.
